Digital Dental Services and Technology Vancouver

Vancouver Dental Specialty Clinic applies the latest in modern technology and Sirona treatment rooms to enhance the quality and efficiency of your dental care. Below, we detail some of the equipment we use to ensure that you receive the best treatment possible.

Care Stream 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CT Scan)

We are one of a few dental practices in the Vancouver that provides 3-dimensional technology to our patients. Our 3D unit is a dental specific CT scanner resulting in low radiation and high resolution for dental diagnostics. CBCT evaluation is necessary for dental implants, complex root canal treatments and wisdom teeth removal.

3Shape Trios4 Intraoral Scanner® in Vancouver

Vancouver Dental Specialty Clinic makes use of 3Shape Trios4 Intraoral Scanner® for intra-oral scanning. The iTero™ IntScanner is designed to make the process of measuring a patient’s mouth more comfortable and more accessible than ever before while offering a significantly higher degree of precision.
The scanner’s wand employs exact imaging technology capable of capturing even the most minor details about a patient’s mouth.

Intra Oral Digital Scanner / CS 3600

the Intra Oral Digital Scanner scanner uses visible light to digitally captures the contours of your teeth and providing an accurate scan while eliminating the goop, gagging, and discomfort often experienced with the traditional impression method.

Dental Microscope

Our practice uses high power precise Zeiss microscopes to enhance the precision of patient care during root canal treatments and diagnosis of dental problems. Microscope also enables us to create dental restorations with incredibly precise fit and finish.

Dental Laser

Dental lasers are used for improving the contour of gums, remove excessive gum tissue and treat pockets of infection during periodontal treatment. Lasers are safe, minimally invasive and are virtually painless during the procedure requiring little if any anesthetic agent.

Digital Radiography

We use digital sensors that transmit the image directly to a computer monitor which reduces the amount of radiation by 90% when compared to conventional films. Digital X-rays are also faster and only takes a second to appear in the monitor. In addition, this new technology is friendly to the environment since no chemicals are needed for developing the image.

Platelet Rich Firbin (PRF)

Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a by-product of blood that is rich in platelets. Blood platelets execute several essential functions in the body, including blood clot formation and the release of growth factors that assist in the healing of wounds. PRF has traditionally been used in hospitals to accelerate the body’s own healing process, but thanks to technology, the same technique can now be applied in specialized dental clinics such as ours. PRF can be used by our clinic's specialists in bone grafting for implants, bone repair and facial trauma reconstruction, fistula repair, and more. The use of PRF has shown to reduce the risk of infection, can accelerate dental healing, and is very safe considering that the blood is extracted from the patient’s own blood supply.

Zoom Whitening Unit

There’s a reason why our teeth whitening services are so popular. Vancouver Dental Speciality Clinic offers patients Zoom Whitening -one of the reliable methods on brightening teeth. Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed, is clinically proven to whiten teeth up to eight shades in 45-minutes and has clinically superior results and efficacy versus other professional whitening alternatives.
